Richard Crouse Receives the First Arch Miller Award of Excellence
In case you missed it, Richard Crouse was awarded the inaugural Arch Miller Award of Excellence. Mr. Crouse was presented with the award at the Employee Appreciation Celebration held on Saturday, March 4 at Cellar 55.
The Arch Miller Award of Excellence will be awarded annually to celebrate the efforts and accomplishments of an employee who is truly outstanding at their work. However, equally as important as the quality of work is the spirit in which the work is done.
“We wanted to create an award that recognizes the qualities on which Arch built the school. Those qualities include commitment, putting students first, professionalism, perseverance, and care and concern for colleagues,” explains Colleen Piller.
Each year the winner's name will be engraved onto the Arch Miller Award of Excellence plaque which will be posted in the lobby of the Academy. The winner will also receive a letter of recognition, a cash reward, and a front-row parking space.
Richard Crouse was a natural choice for the inaugural award. In the more than two decades that he has been teaching at the Academy, he has exemplified putting students first. In a statement read by Colleen, she noted "Richard Crouse is truly outstanding in his role of transferring knowledge to help his students excel and thrive in their chosen profession. He also has a deep concern for the students and colleagues around him and can always be counted on to make people feel welcomed and part of the team."
Please congratulate Mr. Crouse on receiving this important award.
