"Well where to start... I came to IAHA to begin a new life. To go back to school and gain a career. In going to this school I have achieved both these goals. I moved from Vancouver, WA to San Jose, CA where I joined the company Classic Custom Vacations. This was a changing point in my life."

If you will be attending before June 30, 2012
please fill out the 2011-2012 FAFSA

If you will be attending between July 1, 2012 and June 30, 2013
please fill out the 2012-2013 FAFSA

STEP 1

You and your parent(s)(if you are a dependent student) should apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) by visiting www.pin.ed.gov. You will use these PIN’s as your electronic signatures for your FAFSA on the web.

STEP 2

Once you have your PIN, you can fill out a Free Application For Student Aid (FAFSA) online, using your PIN to sign it. This is a free service, that when completed provides a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) to International Air and Hospitality Academy.

When filling out the FAFSA, use our Federal ID School Code which is 022229.

STEP 3

Apply for Federal Direct Loans

STUDENTS

A: Sign into the website – www.studentloans.gov

B: Fill out a Master promissory Note (MPN) online, using your PIN from step 2 to sign it.

PARENTS
(If the student is considered Dependent, according to FAFSA guidelines)

C: Fill out Credit Record Authorization Form

Parents complete the following steps ONLY if
directed by the Financial Aid Office

D: Fill out PLUS Application / Master Promissory Note (MPN) by the parent signing into the website with their own information/PIN – www.studentloans.gov

E: Click “Start PLUS Application Process”

F: Complete Parent PLUS – signing the MPN with their own PIN

IMPORTANT****In most situations, dependent students are NOT eligible for additional unsubsidized loans if a parent declines to apply for a PLUS loan first. Therefore, we ask parents apply for the PLUS loan –right away– by following “Step C” above. If the PLUS is denied – the dependent student is then possibly eligible to receive additional unsubsidized loans to help cover the cost of tuition.
