Ria Arongaw
Flight Attendant
Freedom Airlines

"After graduating from the airline academy I didn't realize how thankful I'd be that I learned what I learned at the academy. I thought " Oh okay, thats it!".. But then when I was hired with the airline almost everything came as second hand to me. From the city codes to airport codes to understanding the work of a ticket agent, ramp agent, and even the pilots. My training was very simple and great. Many of the seniorities ( FA's) say that most of the great employees come from the air academy. I met up with former students and they love this career and can't express how thankful they are that it was through the air academy that they are able to do what they are doing right now. I myself know that I wasn't all that of a very good student but because I tried and never gave up and still trusted that Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Rullman always kept thier word, I am a very happy flight attendant. Its hard at first but its all worth it. I guarantee!!!! A shout out and huge thankful to Mrs. Turner and Mrs. Rullman for everything and last but not least to my two awesome instructors Mr. Hubbs and Mrs. Randall!! "
